Be sure not to miss our delightful culinary event, “Tasting Japan,” happening at Hall 1 Inawashiro before the opening ceremony. Starting at 9:00 AM, it’s a fantastic opportunity to savor local foods and beverages. After a quick stop at the reception desk for your name tag and other essentials, indulge in this flavorsome experience. If you plan to arrive in the morning, kindly bring your lunch, as lunch box distribution will not be available on August 7th.
2. Travel Information: Convenient Bus Timetable

3. Enhanced Security Measures for Opening Ceremony
For security reasons, please be aware that the doors to the Opening Ceremony Hall will be closed promptly at 12:50. We kindly ask for your cooperation in arriving on time to avoid any inconvenience. The Opening Ceremony, graced by the presence of Her Imperial Highness the Crown Princess Akishino, will commence at 13:00 in Room1-1 “Bandai” (Multi-purpose Hall A) on the venue’s first floor. Her Imperial Highness will honor us with her words of congratulations for this auspicious occasion.
4. Engaging Plenary Speaker: Dr. Valentin Martinez Pillet
Join us at 15:30 as we eagerly welcome Dr. Valentin Martinez Pillet, our esteemed Plenary Speaker. Dr. Pillet will present a talk titled “First Results from the Daniel K Inouye Solar Telescope,” promising insights that are not to be missed.
